He started at the age of 12 and quickly started to train himself to compete with other hairdressers in competitions. After winning 41 awards and the Belgian championship 2 times, it was time to take the next step: teaching other hairdressers how to color and cut correctly in Europe. In 2012 a Belgian TV-network asked him to participate in a TV-show about complete make overs. During the show Jurgen gave hair tips to people during the make overs. That was the beginning ... he realized that giving tips & tricks to the end-customers was a big game changer. In 2016, he made his first YouTube hair tip video in Dutch and started in English in 2019.
