My name is Tom. For 14 years I explored the globe living out of a backpack. I picked up a GoPro while I was in the Australian mines and became hooked on making videos, soon this hobby spiralled out of control. This channel chronicles my journey from a travelling misfit with years' worth of nights logged in dingy hostels, to a full-time family man and working stiff. I try to create videos that show viewers interesting parts of the world and provide a window onto the journeys that have shaped my life. Whether rafting down Amazon, traversing the South Island mountains, or showing up-close perspectives of the industries I've worked in and jobs I've worked on.
