The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education that is trusted and used by practitioners and patients all over the world for back, neck and extremity problems. The McKenzie Institute International is a Charitable Trust registered in New Zealand. The Institute’s objective is the worldwide promotion of the assessment, treatment, education and empowerment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. This philosophy and treatment, developed by Robin Anthony McKenzie, is known worldwide as the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® or MDT.
