Walid Toufic | وليد توفيق

Walid Toufic also spelled "Walid Tawfik" born April 8, 1954, is a Lebanese singer who constantly made his big break in Egypt, and also known for performing in concerts and appearing in music videos. Walid Toufic, born Walid Toutounji, grew up with in Tripoli, Lebanon, but he later relocated to western Beirut and lived in the residential area of Ibn Rashd Street. His first Oud Tutor was the blind artist Mr. Amin Azar. During this period, young Walid was working really hard to raise enough money for his music lessons. In 1973, Walid participated in the famous Lebanese talent show "Studio El Fan". His success in this show was his first step towards stardom. Media described his appearance: "The beginner who performed like a star!" Ouyoun Bahia was his luck song. His acting career started afterwards where he starred in 12 different successful movies with Egyptians and Arab famous stars like Farid El-Atrache,Hoda Sultan, Maryam Fakhreddin, Madiha Yusri, Samis Ghanem, Layla Alawi...
