Joystick City is a digital city, created by Andres Arias. A Costa Rican who is currently getting a bachelor's degree in 3D animation. This channel focuses on shortfilms, featuring Joystick City and its emblematic disasters. Why? You might be wondering... This city was born about a decade ago, when i was introduced to the world of animation with the Flipnote Hatena Studio, a nintendo Dsi software for basic 2d flipbook-like animation. I thought that animating destruction and and making stick figures suffer was fun, and I actually succeded in getting alot of fans, subscribers and worldwide features in the once thriving social network. Now, several years after flipnote hatena closed, the videos remained in youtube (since nintendo left the option to upload all your animations to youtube before closure). They gained views and with years, followers. Now Im attempting to reboot Joystick City, with higher quality in animation and meaning.
