Gabríel Ólafs

Gabríel Ólafs’ holistic vision, melodic storytelling, and atmospheric arrangements set him apart as a true auteur of postmodern classical music. At only 24, he is arguably Gen Z’s most important composer. Following on from his acclaimed Piano Works (2020) and poetic multimedia project Solon Islandus (2022), Gabríel now presents a new album inspired by the folk songs of his native Iceland – Lullabies for Piano and Cello (2023).
